How we got here

In The Moment started with a question we kept asking ourselves: why does getting dressed sometimes feel like a performance? Why do so many clothes feel like they're asking something of you — to look a certain way, to fit a certain mold, to be ready for something other than right now?

We started in a small studio in 2024, cutting patterns and testing fabrics with no agenda except making clothes that felt honest. Pieces you'd reach for not because of what they say about you, but because of how they feel on your body and in your life.

The first collection was small. Word spread slowly. What we heard back shaped everything: people weren't just buying the clothes — they were buying the feeling. The calm. The sense that they could just be themselves.

That's still why we make what we make. Not for trends, not for the algorithm. For the person who wants to get dressed and feel like they're exactly where they're supposed to be.

"Presence isn't a luxury. It's not meditation apps or retreat weekends. It's available to you in every ordinary moment — including getting dressed."

— Our founding principle

What we stand for

🌿

Planet-first materials

Organic cotton, TENCEL™ lyocell, and recycled synthetics. No conventional cotton. Every fabric traceable back to its source.

Human hands, fair pay

We partner with three family-run factories in Portugal and Portugal. Every worker earns above the living wage for their region. We visit in person.

👕

Made to last, not to trend

We design against the cycle. No micro-seasons. No disposability. A piece you buy today should still be your favorite in five years.

📦

Radical transparency

Every product page shows the full cost breakdown: materials, labor, transport, margin. We believe you deserve to know exactly where your money goes.

↩️

Free returns, no guilt

Not the right fit? Return it, no questions asked. We'll handle the logistics. Our goal is for every piece to land in a home where it belongs.

🌍

Carbon neutral, for real

We offset 110% of our shipping footprint through verified reforestation projects. Not a marketing line — third-party audited, every year.
